Dalmatia

Dalmatia is the biggest Croatian tourist region that stretches from the island Pag on the north all to way to village Konavle in the south. The most popular tourist destinations are town Zadar located in northern Dalmatia, town Split located in central Dalmatia, and town Dubrovnik located in southern Dalmatia. There are many other destinations that are beloved by travelers, such as lovely Sibenik, charming Vodice, or Trogir. When it comes to Dalmatia, what is specific is the number of many different islands and islets with gorgeous sandy and pebbly beaches. Island Hvar is the sunniest Croatian island and the birthplace of a worldly known explorer Marco Polo. Island Korcula has a lot to offer as it is one of the largest islands in the region.
