PROGRAM - short description
1st day Arrivals: at Split airport, Split port, Split bus station, Split railway station. Transfers to the accommodation facility. Arrivals are individual and after the last arrival a group is formed. In the evening, a presentation of the tourist potential of the Split-Dalmatia County with the aim of presenting the cultural and natural heritage.
2nd day Departure in the morning in the direction of the source of the river Cetina. The sources of the river Cetina are hidden in the magical landscape of Dalmatian Zagora. Among the 8 springs, the 3 largest Vukovića vrilo, Batića vrilo and Glavaševo vrilo will be mentioned. Glavaševo or Veliko vrilo is known for its turquoise color and clarity. At first glance, it appears to be only a few meters deep, but the actual depth of over 100 m has reportedly never been measured. Because of its beauty, it was called the Eye of Dalmatia. We continue our journey along Lake Perućko to the town of Sinj. The historic town of Sinj is known for its more than 300-year-old traditional knightly game Sinjska alka, which is held in honor of the victory over the Turks in 1715. We will visit the Museum of Sinj Alka, which will leave you breathless. Sinjska alka was registered on November 15, 2010UNESCO-'s list of intangible world heritage. We continue with the sightseeing and will visit the magnificent Church of the Miraculous Lady of Sinj. we continue past the monument to Gaius Liberia holding a soccer ball on the basis of which FIFA in 1969 (FIFA Bulletin no. 17 from 1969) admitted that the homeland of football is the Cetinje region. Lunch will follow in a traditional restaurant where we will try "Sinj arambašiće", the most famous specialty of Sinj cuisine, recently protected as an intangible cultural heritage. During lunch, a performance by a folkloric group with the traditional dance "Nijemo kolo" registered in the UNESCO as cultural intangible heritage . On the way back to the original destination, we stop in the town of Klis to visit the Klis fortress, one of the most prominent Croatian fortifications. The fortress is located on the steep cliffs of the gorge, in a strategic place from which the Uskoks resisted attacks during the Turkish wars.
3rd day We spend the third day of our stay in the surroundings of Diocletian's city and undiscovered pearls. North of Split is Kaštelanski zaljev, a bay with seven castles: Sućurac, Gomilica, Kambelovac, Lukšić, Stari, Novi and Štafilić. The castle is full of attractions and artifacts of life from the past. Castles, i.e. castles, from which the name Kastela itself comes, are not only architectural skills, but also buildings with a spirit and a story. We start our visit with a visit Kaštel Sućurac known for the Archbishop's Palace and the oldest defensive tower, we continue our journey Kastel Gomilica which owes its popularity to the fact that it served as the backdrop for filming the fourth season of "Game of Thrones". They follow us Kastel Luksic with the Vitturi Palace, today's museum, and the famous legend about the unhappy love of Miljenko and Dobrila, the Romeo and Juliet of Kastel. We visit along the way Biblical garden , and we stop for a photo stopnext to a 1500-year-old olive tree . We must not forget the story of the famous Crljenak wine from Kastel, the same wine variety as the American Zinfandel, which is believed to have reached America via Vienna. We end today in the Pantan mills, a complex built in the 16th century, within a protected ornithological reserve, home to 163 species of birds, today a restaurant where we will enjoy Mediterranean food (UNESCO) and taste Crljenak.
 4th day Today we get to know folk architecture and folk cultural heritage. We leave for the Vrgorac area, where we will visit the town of Vrgorac, the ethnic village of Kokorići and the hamlet Great Year . The town of Vrgorec is dominated by the Gradina fortress from the 15th century, along with 5 towers from the 16th and 17th centuries. as witnesses of stormy and uncertain times. Today, Vrgorac is known for one of the largest productions of Dalmatian prosciutto and strawberries. We continue our journey towards Etno village Chickens where we will return to some forgotten times with a visit to a tavern and a traditional bakery with local wines. After lunch, the road leads us to the hamlet Great Year protected as a cultural asset of the Republic of Croatia. Urbanistically organized, separated residential part (houses) from economic part (stables, threshing area...) stone-paved streets and a channel for drainage and collected water. The return to the original destination takes us to the inland town of Imotski with its Mediterranean climate and the architecture of the old town core. At the very edge of the city, we come across the karst phenomenon Blue Lake, which got its name from its blue color. When the lake dries up, football matches are organized as an attraction. Just 2 km from the Blue Lake, we will visit a karst pit, partly filled with water, called Red Lake . Return to the starting point.
 5th day In the morning we leave for the Cetinje region, known since Roman times. The road takes us over Bisko on the right side of Cetina. We are standing in the immediate vicinity Nutjak fortress . The fortress was built in the 15th century as a guardian of the northern border of the Principality of Poland. After a short walk, we reach the same one from where there is a beautiful view ofCetina river canyon and locations where the movie Winetou was shot. Continuation towards Trilj. After 4 km we stop next to the Roman site Tilurij, the former camp of the Roman legions. The location is known as a micro-location of the ancestral homeland of football, which is proven by the find plaque-monument to Gaius Liberia (today in Sinj). The road leads us to the tributary of the river Cetina. We will visit mills on the river Grabwith a tasting of flour made in the mill with a view of the old bridge. We continue towards the restaurant on the Ruda river where we will have lunch. The menu is composed of fresh ingredients from the surrounding gardens and the Cetina and Ruda rivers. After lunch we continue towards the mouth of the river Cetina, the so-called Principality of Poland with a photo stop at the viewpoint of the canyon next to the monument Mile Gojsalić whose heroism enabled the people of Poljica to defend their hearths from the Turks. From the viewpoint, one of the most beautiful views of the Cetina canyon, the town of Omiš and the island of Brač can be seen. Descending to the mouth of the Cetina in the Adriatic Sea, another must-try tasting of traditional soparnik - Swiss chard pie, which went from being a poor man's dish to a protected delicacy.
6th day We will spend part of the sixth dayEco Ethno village Škopljanci Radošić a family estate that has preserved architecture and traditional elements in obonov. We will visit the ethno museum with 750 exhibits and 45 sets of folk costumes and old instruments. We will get to know the sound of the fiddle, double bass, pipe ... and listen to a cappella moaning the oldest type of singing in Croatia protected by UNECO as an intangible cultural heritage. This is followed by a traditional lunch of local organic products. Organized for groups sports competition Village Olympics: ballots, tug-of-war, stone throwing...
7th day Today is dedicated to the world-famous destinations of Split and Trogir, their history, cultural heritage, architecture, protected UNESCO locations. We start at the Trogir market, buying groceries. We will dedicate the morning cooking class. With the help of members of the Association for the Preservation of Traditional Gastronomy we will prepare a Mediterranean lunch (UNESCO). We continue with the tourist sightseeing of Trogir (UNESCO 1997) and we end with a tourist tour of Split with an emphasis on the historical complex and Diocletian's palace (UNESCO 1979).
8th day Local transfers according to arrival location Split airport, Split port, Split bus station, Split train station.
