Villa Dvor

About the accommodation

Omiš has sprung on the very mouth of the Cetina River as a pirate fortress, and its beginnings had been mentioned even in the ancient Greek and Roman times. Barren cliffs of the Mosor Mountain and the Dinara Mountain of Omiš watch over the town itself and neighbouring towns which border with it and continue in the northwest and southeast direction.
Along the right post there stands Villa Dvor, built in 1937 by the merchant of Poljica Stjepan Jurišić for his own needs. In 2002 family Ćurlin fully reconstructed and refurbished Villa Dvor into a boutique hotel which has kept its traditional architecture. Its unique position makes hotel a natural belvedere allowing the magnificent view of the ancient town of Omiš and Adriatic sea in the south, and of the Cetina River Canyon, the peaks of the Mosor Mountain and the ancient Republic of Poljica in the north.
