Medulin
Medulin – at 10 km distance from Pula, once a small fisherman's village, today it is a modern tourist destination with indented coastline. The sea makes up three-quarters of the Medulin Riviera with abundant of flora and fauna. Medulin is a town where you can spend a quiet and romantic but also a dynamic and meaningful holiday. The city is known for its beautiful sandy, pebble and rocky beaches, the most famous being Bijeca. Because of its rich sports infrastructure it is a favorite destination for sport activities throughout the year, where sport fans can enjoy football, horse riding, tennis, sailing, mini golf, flying, bowling, beach volleyball, diving and many other water sports.

Like many Istrian towns, Medulin also dates back to ancient times which can be seen in a large number of the archeological remains like „Vižula“ site with ruins of Roman country villas, tombs and the settlement dating from Neolithic period.
There is the old windmill by
the sea, 140 years old. The grain was brought by land & sea, from
the Susak, Unije and Lošinj islands. This is the first restored windmill on the Adriatic coast.
