Day 2 - Zadar

After breakfast at the hotel, a guided tour of Zadar with a professional guide.

Meeting with the guide at Five Wells Square (transfer possible), one of the most picturesque places in Zadar, to begin the guided tour. After discovering the secrets of these wells, we proceed to the famous entrance to Terraferma, a 16th-century architectural masterpiece listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour continues to the Church of St. Simeon before exploring Zadar’s old town. The next stop will be the People’s Square, located in the historic center. From here, we will visit some of Zadar’s most important landmarks, including the Roman Forum and the Church of St. Donatus, a symbol of the city and a prime example of medieval Croatian architecture. But that’s not all! You will visit St. Anastasia’s Cathedral and climb to the top of its tower—183 steps in total! The effort is well worth it, as you will enjoy one of the best panoramic views of the entire city. After the climb, a leisurely walk along the waterfront will lead you to the famous Sea Organ, one of the most unique musical instruments in the world. You can relax and listen to the organ’s sounds while watching the sunset on the horizon—a magical setting! The tour will conclude at the Greeting to the Sun monument.

Free afternoon. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight stay.

Day 3 - Velebit & Zrmanja River

After breakfast, departure by transfer to Velebit Nature Park.

Spend the day away from the crowds and relax in the tranquil Velebit Nature Park. Climb one of Croatia’s most attractive peaks and enjoy a panoramic view of the Zrmanja Canyon. Admire the breathtaking views of the hinterland and the Zadar archipelago from an altitude of 1,100 meters. Travel along a historic gravel road from 1832. Capture stunning photographs of the unique limestone landscape and its rugged beauty. Discover the surreal beauty of the emerald-green Zrmanja River and its rocky canyons.

Optional lunch in a traditional tavern.

Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight stay.

Day 4 - Lake Vransko & Biograd

After breakfast, departure to Vransko Lake Nature Park with a guided tour.

Vransko Lake is a protected nature park and the largest lake in Croatia. It is located 5 minutes from Pakoštane, 10 minutes from Biograd, and 30 minutes from Šibenik and Zadar. The lake is full of freshwater fish and is a paradise for anglers, home to species such as pike, carp, and other fish. It is also an ornithological reserve with rare wetland bird species. Around the lake, cycling trails offer exceptional views of the entire area. At the northwestern end of the park, a bird sanctuary has been created to protect over 100,000 different bird species, including herons, bitterns, great egrets, corncrakes, marsh warblers, striped warblers, little cormorants, and green herons. Every year, volunteer groups come to count the birds in the reserve. A wooden walkway has been built so visitors can walk over the lake, through the reeds, and observe the birds, fauna, and flora.

After the tour, on the way back to Zadar, there will be a short break for individual walks along the waterfront and in the historic center of Biograd na Moru.

Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight stay.

Day 5 - Paklenica

After breakfast, depart to Paklenica National Park to spend a day in the mountainous landscape, just steps from the sea.

Paklenica National Park is located slightly inland from the North Dalmatian coast, about 47 km north (northeast) of Zadar. The nearest coastal town to the park is Starigrad Paklenica. The park lies south of the Velebit mountain range (the largest in Croatia) and covers just under 100 square kilometers. It features a mix of high peaks with stunning views and deep canyons covered with beech and pine forests. The park is an ideal destination for adventure seekers, offering several challenging hiking trails and popular climbing routes. For those who prefer a more relaxed experience, there are also easier walking trails with plenty to explore. We can arrange transportation from your accommodation and back, as well as book a local guide to take you on an unforgettable adventure.

Optional lunch in a traditional tavern.
