Vodice is a famous tourist center, actually one of the most well-known in the central part of the Adriatic coast. Cultural sights in the area are the hill Okit, as one of the most famous with the church Lady of Karmel that dominates the view of the city, Čorić tower, the gothic church St. Cross, and the church of St. Ilija the prophet. Unlike many other Adriatic settlements, the area around Vodice is rich with drinking water so the place used to be very important at the age of the Roman empire as the source of drinking water for the Roman galleys.
