History and culture of Biograd:
As the 9th century coronation place of the first Croatian Kings, Biograd holds claim to one of the most significant towns in Croatian history. You can visit the Town Museum and look at the numerous artifacts and evidence of Biograd´s stormy past. Here, there is an interesting archaeological collection with prehistoric, antique, and early Croatian findings, boat cargo from the 16th century, and a number of other exhibits.
